Today we went on a long road trip from Manitowaning to Toronto. We did drive to BC which was the longest road trip ever. We listened to music like Anna Kendrick's Cup Song, Last Friday Night, and Safe and Sound. The music helped the time go quickly because we sang along and boogied in our seats.
I also like to read on road trips. I used to dislike reading in cars because it made my head hurt. Now, I really get into the story lines and am entertained by the movie in the head. Today, I read 39 Clues which I thought would take a long time, but I actually finished it before Little Current. Mom got me lots of ebooks so I chose Dork Diaries 6. I read the WHOLE book by Sudbury, After a break in Sudbury, I started Friendship Matchmaker.
We played a games that mom's friend Dana told us call "cow cow cow." I wasn't very good at it. I was not pay attention and mom and Cassie kept collecting animals (deer, horses, cows) and the burying each other's collections. Every few minutes one of them would shout "cow cow cow cow" or "horse horse," and they would argue about who won or lost their animals. Once we got to Toronto, I saw "a cat" but it didn't last very long - after the construction site it was gone. We also had a non-laughing contest - which Cassie won and a staring contest, which Cassie also won.
But I am glad that we are out of the car finally. I love road trips but I like getting to our destination.
