The playground near the Louvre

Today we went to the Louvre. But before the Louvre, we went to a great playground. The playground was in the Tulieres Jardins, which means Tuliere Gardens. There used to be a castle there, but it burned down in the 1700s. Now there is a beautiful park in the place.
In the playground we first went on the Spinney thing. Cassie spun me really fast and made me dizzy. I asked her to stop, but she just spun me faster. I got mad at her and I jumped off.

Then we went to the teeter totter. Cassie and I were playing on it, and I had to climb up the teeter totter because Cassie was weighing it down. Every time Cassie would push her feet up I would bounce right back up. I thought it was really fun.

We climbed up the climby bars. Cassie and I had races to see who could get to the top first. Cassie won most of the time but I won once. It was made of ropes, my feet kept going through the holes, and I got a whole bunch of rug burns.

We went on the bouncing toys with mom. It also made me dizzy because we went around in circles. Then we dragged mom onto the teeter totter. She sat on one side; Cassie and I sat on the other. She won the weight contest. I am sorry mom!

The last things that we did were go on the leapfrogging things and the merry go round. There was a little plate you pushed to make the merry go round spin, and it was really heavy so we didn't go very fast. Lucky me got to spin it!

I want to go back there again.

  1. Sounds like an awesome playground! I haven't seen a teeter-totter in years! Wish I was there with you, it would be lots of fun!
